Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We arrived at USCIS San Francisco Office on 630 Sansome Street at about 7am. There were 2 people going in for US Citizenship in front of us outside. A security gaurd checked our appt letter let us in. After we passed thru security, we headed for the 2nd floor and went to the AOS reception desk. A lady there took our appt letter ,then told us to wait at area B. At about 805am, over the intercom, a female voice called out my wife\'s name to come to door B.

Review Topic: General Review

About what I expect from a government office. Most of the office was about as efficient as the DMV. Except they have more of an attitude. When we went to pick up EAD, they dropped our appointment slip in a crack between two desks and so didn't know we were there. We got there around 9am and watched as person after person who came in after us were called. When we inquired as to why people who came after us were getting their EADs before us, they screamed at us to sit back down -- they will call us when it's our turn. Needless to say, when they did eventually find our appointment slip underneath the desk at 4pm, they refused to acknowledge that they had been in the wrong. On the positive side the officer who did our AOS interview -- months later -- was pleasant, respectful and polite.
